There are a huge number of independent service companies throughout the country I was in the industry not that long ago. The equipment all use lead shielding and many of these companies have tens of thousands of pounds of lead and other scrap around.

I have lots of lead from this but I am inthe roofing industry. IF you live near a large enough lake the boatyards often have old boats that have been abandoned.

You may have to do some work in hauling it off and scrapping it but it saves the boat yard from having to pay to have it disposed of. Just make sure the boat has lead ballast.
