You see, a while back, the dude who is always reciting that crazy peotry started Agustus back on drugs Agustus was depressed because his mother was killed in an accident on the bus that was going to OZ After Agustus started doing drugs again, he got really sick and the old man found out about it.

The dude who recites that crazy peotry didn't want the old dude to find out that HE was the one who gave Agustus the drugs.

So he told the old dude that it was the Italians who gave it to Agustus.
