I don't reccomend the song "Peacock". Highly inappropiate and talks about male's "whoohoos". This title contains: Positive role models.

Adult Written by mv May 3, Best famous Role Model you can ask for. I love Katy perry, her music and costumes remind me of being a kid and happy times. It even reminds of a kind of Disney music. Don't be so hard on judging her They could have chosen Eminem type music She doesnt even use cussing! Positive role models. Adult Written by jessica45 April 22, Other than that, I'd reccomend it. Just a few iffy things: In the song T.
F, it mentions skinny dipping and getting kicked out of bars and in the song Teenage Dream, it mentions a guy getting his hands on Katy. Adult Written by helenmirrenrox July 27, I am going to see her concert soon and I am bringing my friend's daughter who is 11, but she is mature, and I think maybe you should be like 12 to listen to most of the songs. I'll list each song on the album and what is bad about it Teenage Dream is the first song - Does it have a good message?
This song is about true love, happiness, and finding a perfect match to make you happy. There is mild sexual content, but in a good apropriate mannor. This song uses little sexual content. Is it still apropriate for kids? I'd say tweens 10 - It does have a mild refrance to drinking, but just one. And some over the top romance, but stuff that won't bug parents. This song uses sex in the proper way, not in the money making way.
Track 2 is Last Friday Night - Does it have a good message? This song is about sex, drinking, and breaking the laws. There isn't a good message in all of that. Is it apropriate for kids? No, you should be 14, because some of the lines are- "There's a kicky or a bruise", "We got kicked out of that bar", and "We went sipping in the park". This song mentions skinny dipping, drinking, doing bad things again and again, getting arested, having sex, and breaking and ripping stuff.
Track 3 is California Gurlz. Is it a good message? Over all no. It is about sex on the beach. But it is kinda catchy and some parts are tame and the sex in this song isn't always used in the wrong way. The following track is Firework. This is one of the best and cleanest tracks. It is about being you, loving you, and ignoring bullies. Is it Okay for kids? Totally, it is one of those songs that i recomend that kids listen to! It says "Your origenal can not be replaced", "After a hurricane, is a rainbow", "Theres still chance for you.
Next is the song Peacock. Does it have a good message? It is about wanting to see a boy's balls. The sex isn't nessisarly used in the wrong way, but it is to straight out. It also has minor swears calling somebody a beyotch, but it doesn't say the word.

While it's still as saccharine sweet as her previous hits, there's also a rather, well, mature quality to it despite the title. That said, we are now mentally preparing ourselves for its ubiquity.

She commented about the filming on her Twitter, saying, "That's a wrap for Teenage Dream! So gorgeous [ During the Ask Katy Youtube interview, Perry was asked about her music video. She replied saying:. Josh Kloss, who plays the love interest in the video commented on how he was impressed by Perry and told People magazine , "I was surprised by her acting chops, I think she's a great artist, and the entire set was filled with magic.
It was a lot of fun. She sings as she kisses and gets close to her love as he drives. A scene of her love getting ready to practice fighting in a isolated gym is shown. Her friends who are accompanying her to the beach catch up and drive beside her and they wave at each other. Next, everyone is at the beach parking lot and Perry's love starts hugging her from behind. Scenes of the two of them getting intimate in a motel room is slipped in. Everyone then starts running to the water and splash each other.
The video then returns to the gym setting as Perry is getting things she left in her locker. She notices that her future boyfriend is beating the punching bag furiously and aggressively. After a while he notices her and the scene changes back to the present where we now see everyone dancing at a outdoor party, having the time of their lives. The video ends with Perry and her love interest kissing at the motel pool while swimming around. A director's cut of the music video was first premiered onto Perry's MySpace page.
